The Big Ten Conference announced its 2023 Big Ten Men's Lacrosse Players to Watch List on Thursday. Shane Knobloch, Ethan Rall and Ross Scott were selected as the Rutgers' representatives. The league office also put out the Preseason Coaches Poll of conference squads. RU was tabbed as No. 3 in the league, behind Maryland and Ohio State. All three student-athletes have been named Preseason All-Americans by multiple publications this offseason. Rall has been as high as the First Team, Knobloch on the Second Team, and Scott on the Third Team. Additionally, Scott was named a Preseason Player to Watch by the Big Ten for the second straight season.
