The Scarlet Knights look to begin the season with a 3-0 record for the first time since 2012 as they take on Delaware (2-0) at home in the last non-conference matchup on the schedule. The Blue Hens are ranked No. 6 nationally at the FCS level and have won nine of its last ten games since last spring. Rutgers has the clear advantage with size, speed and talent in this contest but it will be critical that they come out with purpose and energy to start the game. The sooner they can establish control of the game, the harder it will be for Delaware to stay competitive.
