Although Wednesday was National Signing Day for the 2021 class, Rutgers got some positive news with its 2022 recruiting class, as Hudson Catholic’s Taj White verbally committed to the program last night.

White is a 3-star prospect that is ranked 18th in New Jersey and the 54th best offensive tackle in the nation in the 2022 class per 247 Sports.

The 6’5”, 270 pounder holds offers from almost a dozen power five schools, including Nebraska, Maryland, Boston College, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Vanderbilt, and West Virginia.

It’s no secret that Rutgers needs to rebuild the offensive line in a big way, so adding the second highest ranked offensive tackle in New Jersey for the class of 2022 is a great win on the recruiting trail for the coaching staff.
