We are back with episode no. 89 of the On The Banks podcast. This week, James Kratch of New Jersey Advance Media joins me to discuss a few topics around Rutgers athletics.
Our discussion focuses on an in-depth review of the current state of wrestling, which have lost all four dual meets so far this season. However, there are several storylines worth discussing with this program as the youth movement begins to emerge, as well as the postseason outlook for this group. This episode was recorded on Tuesday, February 2nd and one day later, the wrestling program announced they had withdrawn from this weekend’s quad meet due to COVID-19 positive results within the program. Hopefully, they get back on the mat soon.
We also covered football topics that include national signing day, the quarterback situation and spring practice, while closing on the postseason outlook for men’s basketball.
I also mention the recent win for volleyball and close on why winning ugly is a great thing for men’s basketball.
Thanks to James for coming back again to talk Rutgers athletics on the podcast and thanks for listening.
