In what was widely assumed most of the season has come to pass. Shooting Guard Peter Kiss entered the transfer portal today.
Rutgers guard Peter Kiss is entering the transfer portal, as expected, per source. Rutgers is not planning to fill his scholarship spot for the 2020-21 season.

After averaging 6 points per game in 30 games in 2018-19, Kiss played in only 2 games last season. Today, Kiss decided to move on. Steve Pikiell said, “Peter has been a great representative of Rutgers Basketball. We appreciate his contributions to our program, support his decision and wish him future success.”
If Rutgers does not fill the scholarship for 2020-21, they will carry over an open one into the 2021-22 season. They already have one commitment in that class with 4 star guard Jaden Jones. Next season, Rutgers will graduate both Geo Baker and Jacob Young, two key players fans will hate to see leave the banks. Rutgers currently has 3 open spots in that class, not including Jones.
Good luck, Peter in where ever you land!
