At-Large Selections For 2020 NCAA Wrestling Championship Released

Rutgers earns three at-large selections bringing their total to five qualifiers in Minneapolis

With the NCAA Wrestling Tournament just under two weeks away in Minneapolis, the NCAA selection committee has released its at-large bids. At-large selections are for those who have not automatically qualified through their conference tournament.

Rutgers automatically qualified two wrestlers at the Big Ten Wrestling Championships over the weekend , 133-pounder Sammy Alvarez and 184-pounder Billy Janzer. Today, Rutgers fans have some good news to celebrate, as three more Scarlet Knights will be representing Rutgers in Minneapolis at the NCAA Tournament.

Nic Aguilar (125), Mike VanBrill (157) and Jordan Pagano (197) have all received at-large selections to wrestle in Minneapolis. In total Rutgers will send five wrestlers to compete at U.S. Bank Stadium starting on Thursday, March 19th and ending on Sunday, March 21.
