The best opportunity in years to beat Penn State has arrived. Rutgers hasn’t beaten them since joining the Big Ten. A win today would mean a great deal, but mathematically would also guarantee Rutgers a better than last place finish. They haven’t done that in 3 seasons.
On the field, it should be as competitive a matchup since the 2014 game that Penn State won in the final minute. Today could be when Rutgers finally seizes an opportunity against the Nittany Lions and closes out a victory against them for the first time since 1988.
