Here we go folks, the first true test for Rutgers football this season is here. Can this team give Iowa a real fight on their home turf? Is the offense for real? Can the defense tighten up against the run and limit big plays? Will Ash be aggressive with his decision making and play to win? Let’s hope yes to all of the above!
Our managing editor brought up this fact to chew on:
When Rutgers has scored 30+ points in Big Ten play, they are 5-2 overall & 3-1 on the road. The issue is they rarely score that much & are 0-17 on the road when they don’t. A reason for optimism is they MIGHT have their best offense since 2014. Opportunity to prove it vs Iowa.
