Hours after former Rutgers head coach Chris Ash was dismissed, he issued a statement via his twitter account.

Ash finished his Rutgers tenure with an 8-32 record, tied for worst all-time in program history with a .200 winning percentage, equally Terry Shea, who went 11-44 from 1996-2000.
