Gut reaction:

The big story in this game to me is the fact that Rutgers will be starting QB Artur Sitkowski as McLane Carter will be out with concussion issues. Sitkowski was, and this is putting it lightly, downright dreadful last season, putting up one of the worst full season stat lines in NCAA history. There is still hope that Art can turn is around and live up to the massive hype thrust upon him as soon as he walked onto campus, but I remain pessimistic about that when it comes to putting my hard earned money on the line.

If I Were a Betting Man:

Boston College is coming off of a humiliating home loss to Kansas last week and they will be fired up to put that behind them against Rutgers on Saturday. This is being hyped up as a potential rivalry game and I believe the Boston College team will come out fired up and capitalize on far too many Sitkowski errors in this game and for that reason I’m going to take Boston College -8 here.
