Game Day Info For Attending Rutgers vs. UMass

There are several special events taking place before kickoff, as well as some game day changes in and around SHI Stadium

The 2019 Rutgers football season is finally upon us! For those of you attending tonight’s home opener, there are several game day changes and activities to be aware of. There are two special events of note, the unveiling of the Victory Statue and an re-enactment of the first college football game played between Rutgers and Princeton. Let’s break down the full list of pregame activities here:

RUTGERS VS. UMASS GAMEDAY TIMELINE

  • 2:00 PM – Parking Lots Open
  • 4:10 PM – Victory Statue Unveil in the North Plaza
  • 4:15 PM – Block R Party and Kids Zone Opens
  • 4:50 PM – Scarlet Walk
  • 5:45 PM – Gates Open
  • 6:15 PM – “First Game” Reenactment on the Practice Fields, presented by RWJBarnabas Health
  • 6:55 PM – Band Show Begins
  • 7:04 PM – Horse Entrance
  • 7:09 PM – Team Entrance
  • 7:10 PM – National Anthem
