As NFL training camps are entering the home stretch in late August, Rutgers legend Carli Lloyd brought her star power to a Philadelphia Eagles practice on Tuesday. Visiting along with the rest of her teammates from the World Cup champion United States Women’s National Team, Lloyd showed off her big leg by attempting and MAKING a 55 yard field goal.
Thank you to the @Eagles for having me out! Thanks to @JustinTuck @jake_elliott22 @MayorRandyBrown for the good time and tips! #55yd pic.twitter.com/owZ16f46Th

She impressed the Eagles for sure.
What did you expect? She's a World Champion.@CarliLloyd | #FlyEaglesFly pic.twitter.com/kIwHOABMKa

We really shouldn’t be surprised anymore with anything that Lloyd does on the pitch, soccer or otherwise. Very cool moment and just another reason to cherish the fact this generational athlete is a Rutgers alumna and Hall of Famer.
Could Lloyd, who plays professionally for the Sky Blue FC of the National Women’s Soccer League, parlay this moment into something bigger in the NFL? Of course she could silly, because she is Carli Lloyd. However she likely is happier playing as long as she can on the soccer field.
Have the @Eagles signed a new kicker? Not exactly, but world champion soccer player @CarliLloyd stopped by the Birds' practice and showed off her leg with some impressive field goals. More coverage from camp --> https://t.co/W0jcOtic9G pic.twitter.com/sEgOMupWRb

Today was just a reminder of what a legend Lloyd truly is.
