One day before players officially report for the start of training camp, Rutgers football opened its newly renovated locker room on Tuesday. A $4 million gift from Greg and Anna Brown made it all possible.

To say the players were excited about seeing the locker room for the first time would be an understatement. Here is video from Rutgers football communications head Hasim Phillips and Associate AD Sarah Baumgartner capturing the players initial reactions.

This is certainly a fun and exciting development for the players to experience right at the beginning of training camp. It’s a crucial four weeks ahead for a Rutgers team that is looking to vastly improve from last season’s 1-11 campaign. Let’s hope the words of Isaih Pacheco ring true on the field this fall.
