Game 21 recap & four thoughts
Uniform Note: Rutgers wear alternate “Harlem Renaissance Collection” uniforms created by adidas to celebrate Black History Month.
Rutgers has an amazing opportunity tonight in front of a sold out RAC and the full spotlight of the Big Ten shining on them. It will be a tall task, but it’s possible. I disagree with the notion that Rutgers needs to play a perfect game or shoot the lights out to beat Michigan. The Wolverines are not an elite offensive team this season and have averaged 61 points in their last five games. Rutgers needs to continue with the winning formula they developed during their Big Ten victories so far. Stout defense, attacking the rim, get to the free throw line and rebound. Tonight is a major challenge but it’s an exciting test to watch this young team go through.

Inspired by the wooden floors of the ballrooms where basketball became culture during the Harlem Renaissance, the CBC jerseys also include patterns which mimic fabrics & prints of the 1920s that represented self-expression & community pride.#teamadidas | #BHM#GardenStatement pic.twitter.com/PBC8CtXyp7
