Ahmirr Robinson has been committed to the Rutgers Football program since May despite the changes in offensive coordinators and now Head Coach, again. He made it official Wednesday, joining former high school teammate Mike Tverdov.

Rutgers needs to get back to what made the program during it’s heydays when it secured players whose football skills hadn’t yet caught up to their overall athletic ability and sometimes it worked quite well. Robinson from his junior tape was quite raw, but showed a lot of fine tuning as a senior. He’s still a home run threat that can turn a seemingly benign play into an explosive one, something Rutgers badly needs.
High School Position: WR, QB (6’1”, 179 lbs.)
Projected college position: Wide Receiver
High School: Union
Hometown: Union, NJ
Most notable other offers: Boston College, Buffalo
The Rutgers Wide Receiver room has had a surplus of scholarship players the last three years, but not enough production. There have been plenty of excuses like quarterback play, change in coordinators, change in scheme, etc. but ultimately anyone who can produce will see the field. The ability to surprise people with explosiveness is underrated and any way to get more big plays is welcomed with open arms.
Floor: Marquis Daniels
Most likely: Andrew Turzilli
Potential: Kenny Britt
