The Rutgers women’s soccer team had two players earn Big Ten Weekly Honors on Tuesday. Senior Amanda Visco was named Defensive Player of the Week and sophomore Meagan McClelland was named Goalkeeper of the Week.
Visco scored the game winner at Iowa last Friday and led the Rutgers defense that allowed just 8 total shots on goal in two games last weekend. She played every minute of both contests, a 1-0 victory over Iowa and a 1-1 draw at Nebraska. It’s the first weekly honor of her career.
