Game 15 recap & four thoughts
Rutgers has been away from home since last Friday and comes into tonight’s game at Purdue short handed. Leading scorer and rebounder Eugene Omoruyi remains out after dislocating his kneecap last week, while Caleb McConnell is a game time decision after suffering a groin injury Saturday against Minnesota. If McConnell can’t go, Rutgers will have just eight scholarship players available for this game.
It will be a difficult challenge either way tonight going against the high powered offense of Purdue. However, Rutgers has showed growth on offense in the last two games and have nothing to lose tonight. Win or lose, let’s hope for a strong effort from the Scarlet Knights.
