The 2018 season for Rutgers football is finally about to kickoff. Saturday’s game against Texas State is an important one for this team to set the tone for Chris Ash’s third campaign with the program. True freshman Artur Sitkowski gets the start at quarterback for offensive coordinator John McNulty, who is back after a decade away when he led the most successful offense in Rutgers history. A veteran defense is led by seven senior starters and has the potential to be one of the best units in the Big Ten this season. Hope is alive and well for this team as the season begins.
