Jules Heningburg looked the part of an All-American finishing with a goal and five assists and Christian Mazzone finished with two goals and two assists on the day.
The Scarlet Knights raced out to a 3-0 lead, but Robert Morris scored the next three, foreshadowing the battle the Scarlet Knights would face on the day.
A 4-0 second quarter for Rutgers was highlighted by two goals from Christian Trasolini in his return from injury, a goal from Casey Rose, and the first career goal for Ryan Gallagher.

The second half was much like the first quarter, a back and forth battle where the Scarlet Knights were never really able to pull away. Trasolini completed his hat trick, Rose and Mazzone added their second goals and Chad Tolliver added his first of the season to complete the scoring in the second half.
Alex Schoen started at the face-off X and finished an impressive 13-21 on the day. Michael Rexrode had two caused turnovers and three ground balls on the day and Garrett Michaeli had five ground balls and one caused turnover in his first career start. Max Edelmann finished with five saves on the day.
The Scarlet Knights return to action next weekend when they take on St. John’s at home at 1pm.
