Aaron Young had been committed to Michigan State until the very end. He signed Wednesday with Rutgers to join his brother Avery shocking many.

At least sixteen power five schools had offers out to Aaron and it would have been more had he not been committed to Michigan State for so long. Rutgers had a secret weapon though, his brother Avery who started as a true freshman. The borderline four star prospect is a smooth runner who like Paul James did for Rutgers, seems to be able to side step defenders while able to keep his upper body still and momentum forward. He showed some Robert Martin cutback ability and Josh Hicks barreling ability despite his lack of height. He’s shiftier and probably faster than Raheem Blackshear, so his ceiling is one that may be above what any high schooler deserves in the below section ...
Position: RB (5’9”, 190 lbs.)
High School: Coatesville Area
Hometown: Coatesville, PA
Notable offers: Michigan State, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Penn State, Stanford
Running backs always have a chance to contribute early no matter how full the room looks. Even with Hilliman’s graduation, Raheem Blackshear and Isaih Pacheco each have plenty of eligibility remaining with Charles Snorweah in his final season. The depth at the position and special teams takes a hit with the loss of Trey Sneed. Of course Rutgers needs playmakers as much as possible and will get them all on the field even if they are all “running backs”.
Floor: Desmond Peoples
Most likely: Josh Hicks
