The Rutgers men’s basketball team kicks off the Holiday week with a chance to bounce back from Friday’s loss to St. John’s against a solid Eastern Michigan squad. Heavy on experience and a 2-3 zone, this game will be a significant challenge for the Scarlet Knights.
It’s just the fourth game of the season and after discovering Rutgers wasn’t ready to compete against an elite opponent yet, this test is brings a more achievable outcome than Friday. Rutgers needs a short memory and to get back to sharing the basketball in the halfcourt. They can also force EMU into some turnovers which could lead to some easy baskets in transition.
