Rutgers at Maryland

Opening point spread (according to VegasInsider): Maryland -21.5

Gut reaction:

Well, so much for Rutgers having some momentum after their 2nd half performance against Indiana heading into the Illinois game. Rutgers just looks like they don’t belong on the field with about 90% of FBS teams currently. They duped me into believing in them last week but I am abandoning ship until they show me multiple games where they look anything better than horrific.

I didn’t expect the line to open this high but I think the line should be around 3 TD’s like it is. Maryland has some disappointing performances this season but I think they’ll have revenge on their minds after losing to the Scarlet Knights in Piscataway last season.

If I Were a Betting Man:

How can I put my money on Rutgers at this point? It would be shocking to anybody if they came out and looked even halfway decent in this game I think. Maryland -21.5 is the play here as they can easily win this one by 28+ points against a team in a complete downward spiral.
