Despite being outgunned in shots and corners, Rutgers was able to come back from a 2-0 deficit to score two quick goals and force an overtime. Rutgers first year student and leading scorer Jordan Hall put Rutgers on the board with his first goal of the day with a big assist from Miles Hackett.

A great win, and the first conference win of the season for the Scarlet Knights. Unfortunately, the remainder of the week has not gone as well. After going up 1-0 against Drexel with another goal by Jordan Hall, Drexel came back with two goals to take the lead. However, true freshman Andrew Murray scored his first collegiate goal to tie Rutgers back up with the Dragons 2-2.

Drexel won the game Tuesday night in heartbreaking fashion when the ball was inadvertently knocked into the Rutgers goal by Scarlet Knights players attempting to get the ball to Rutgers goalkeeper Rafael Periera.
Those two contests puts Rutgers season record at 2-7-1 and their conference record at 1-3. They are back in action this coming Sunday when they take on conference foe Wisconsin at an away match in Madison.
