Tonight is a great opportunity for Rutgers to pick up just their second road win in Big Ten play since joining the conference four seasons ago. Of course, last place Illinois looks at Rutgers as a tremendous chance for them to win two Big Ten games in a row, as they beat Indiana last Wednesday, their first league victory of the season.

For the Scarlet Knights to win, their defense needs to slow down an Illini offense that averages 77 points per game. In addition, Rutgers has struggled offensively, as they have only scored an average of 48 points in their past three defeats. Corey Sanders, who averages 28 points in two prior meetings with Illinois, needs to get going after a scoreless effort in his last game.
