The Knights in the Pros family has extended into a new professional sport, with the Women’s Professional Lacrosse League scheduled to begin play in 2018. The five founding teams consist of the Baltimore Braves, New England Command, New York Fight, Philadelphia Fire, and Upstate (N.Y.) Pride. Learn more on the official website.

The inaugural draft was held last week and two current Scarlet Knight assistant coaches, Katie Hertsch (New England) and Nicole Graziano (New York) were selected. Hertsch played collegiately at Hofstra before being a six year member of the U.S. Women’s National Team. Graziano played at the University of Florida where she was an All-American.
