Last week, kickoff times were announced for five games for the upcoming 2017 Rutgers football season. Three of which, all Big Ten conference games, were set for noon start times, something fans have bemoaned since joining the league.
The good news is that today BTN announced their first three weeks of coverage for the 2017 season and Rutgers will play at a time other than noon. The home games against Morgan Sate and Eastern Michigan will kickoff at 3:30 est.
Seven kickoff times for the season are now set. The four previously announced Big Ten start times for games against Nebraska, Penn State, Michigan, and Purdue will either be aired on BTN, Fox networks or the ESPN family of networks. Those telecasts will be determined in during the season, although the kickoff times are set.
