Scout ranks Lacewell as a 4-star prospect for 2018. He’s ranked No. 21 nationally as an OLB and the No. 1 OLB in New York. 247 Sports ranks Lacewell as a 3-star wide receiver. He’s ranked No. 69 nationally and the fourth best receiver in New York. Lacewell will have the opportunity to play alongside current freshmen and former high school teammate Tim Barrow. In addition to Rutgers, he holds offers from Temple, Pitt, Syracuse, Indiana, and Maryland.
Lacewell is the third commitment of the 2018 cycle following commitments from QB Jalen Chatman and CB Jarret Paul.
Lacewell possesses tremendous speed and athleticism. When watching his tape it is easy to see how well he runs and his ability to chase plays from behind. This is a tremendous get for the Scarlet Knights.
Welcome to the banks Zihir!!
