Rexrode established himself as one of the premier defensemen in the country this season finishing with 23 caused turnovers and 28 groundballs. Rexrode routinely covered the opposing teams top attackman and was one of the main reasons the Rutgers defense was much improved from last season.
Heningburg was the quarterback on the Rutgers offense and finished his season with 46 points, including a team high 26 assists.
Rexrode and Heningburg both return for a Rutgers squad that should be absolutely loaded next year.
