At Rutgers, Johnson sat out a transfer year for Eddie Jordan and played a year for Steve Pikiell. He averaged 11.3 points for the Scarlet Knights this year and was one of their most consistent three point shooters.
Currently, Rutgers has one scholarship unspoken for. Next year, Geo Baker (signed NLI) and JUCO Souf Mensah are already committed. Rutgers is also waiting on what happens with Corey Sanders while he tries out for the NBA—without hiring an agent.
With that one scholarship, the Scarlet Knights are chasing big time point guard Blake Harris, who is visiting Missouri this weekend. It will be compelling to see how Steve PIkiell fills out his roster for next season.
