Steve Pikiell has filled one of his open scholarships with a sit out transfer. High scoring, 6’5” freshman guard Peter Kiss committed to Rutgers after an official visit this weekend, per his Twitter page.

Kiss fills the scholarship vacated by one of the three transfer. At Quinnipiac, Kiss averaged 13 points and played 30 minutes a game. While not a knock em dead shooter, Kiss can hit the three. In a game early this season, he lit Seton Hall up for 19 points in a loss.
While there will be some delayed gratification for Scarlet Knight fans, as Kiss will have to sit out a year, this is a solid piece for the future of the program.
Steve Pikiell and the Scarlet Knights now have 2 open scholarships for next season. When talking to Adam Zagoria, Kiss said:
Rutgers beat Seton Hall, Rhode Island and Auburn for Kiss’s services.
