This is will be a tall task for sure, mostly because of Purdue’s dominant frontcourt, led by double-double monster Caleb Swanigan. Rutgers needs to be attack the glass relentlessly, bring intensity on the defensive end, and hopefully lady luck will appear on Valentine’s Day. Oh, I almost forgot, and defend the heck out of the perimeter.
Purdue is scary good and we have every right to be terrified after losing to them by 50 points last season. Despite a lot of progress this season under coach Pikiell, if Rutgers doesn't show up tonight this game will be hard to watch as well. However, if this team shows some fight and battles tonight, that's all we can ask for in this dofficult road game against one of the Big Ten’s best.
We will have live in-game commentary on twitter and join us in the comment section during the game. RU rah rah!
Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!
In honor of Valentines Day - who did it better?
