Rutgers has a major opportunity against the Hoosiers on the road this afternoon. A win would be historic, as it would mark the first time in four seasons that the Scarlet Knights would achieve four wins in Big Ten play. It would also ensure a fifth place finish in the East division, something significant for a program that was unanimously picked to finish in last place for the third straight season. Weather will be a factor, but it won’t change how Rutgers approaches things on offense. Expect another run heavy attack formulated by OC Jerry Kill, while the defense will hopefully feature safety Saquan Hampton more prominently against pass happy Indiana, after he returned from injury for partial duty last week. Of course, this game should be close and special teams play could be the difference in the outcome.
