As we watch the Scarlet Knights week in and week out, we will continue to check in on the Knights of the future to track their success on the high school gridiron. The highlighted Class of 2018 commits will be listed by ranking according to 247Sports.

Zihir Lacewell - 3* Wide Receiver, Tottenville (NY)

Rutgers’ top commit continued his successful senior campaign, hauling in a 20-yard touchdown catch en route to his team’s 35-6 victory over Fort Hamilton to remain undefeated.

Amad Anderson - 3* Athlete, Curtis (NY)

While Anderson only had one reception in the 32-8 victory over New Dorp, he still contributed to the offense, taking a handoff on a reverse nine yards for a rushing touchdown. Anderson played well at safety, picking up a late interception.

Paul Woods - 3* Wide Receiver, Canisius (NY)

Woods was once again the most reliable receiver on the field for Canisius in their 49-35 win over Washington. Woods led the team with five catches for 86 yards and a touchdown. The versatile athlete also returned two kickoffs for 48 yards.

Jalen Chatman - 3* Dual-Threat Quarterback, Narbonne (CA)

Chatman led Narbonne to an easy victory to open up their league play, cruising past Carson 48-13. Before the game was well in hand, Chatman completed touchdown passes of 16 and 40 yards.

Jayden McDonald - 3* Outside Linebacker, North Gwinnett (GA)

McDonald had a bye week this week, but on the season the athletic linebacker has 30 total tackles over four games, including two sacks and three interceptions.

Travon King - 3* Wide Receiver, Woodrow Wilson (NJ)

King flashed his elite athleticism on both sides of the ball in Woodrow Wilson’s 30-20 victory over Moorestown. On offense, King pulled in three catches for a team-high 73 yards. On defense, the defensive end had seven total tackles and a forced fumble.

Deion Jennings - 3* Cornerback, Timber Creek (NJ)

Jennings was another Rutgers commit to make a mark on both sides of the ball this week. In Timber Creek’s 47-3 win over Eastern, Jennings pulled in two catches, a 37-yard touchdown catch and a 45-yard touchdown catch. The defensive back commit recorded eight total tackles on defense.
