According to a tweet by NJ.com’s Todderick Hunt, 3-star defensive end Tijaun Mason has committed to the Scarlet Knights.

Mason, who is a weak-side DE out of Memphis Tennessee, looks like he committed to Rutgers over offers from Purdue, and Toledo. However, Tijaun has had interest from a slew of other schools, including Michigan State, Minnesota, Iowa State, Boston College, and more.
While Mason has not confirmed his commitment on Twitter, he did post this on Friday:

The 6’ 6”, 220 lb DE is among the top recruits out of Tennessee this year, listed as #36 by 247, is a monster on defense, and would have an impact, perhaps as soon as this coming season. Here’s a picture of him in action:
