RFootball With Chris Ash TV Show Debuts This Weekend

NCAA Football: Big Ten Media Day David Banks-USA TODAY Sports

The Rutgers athletic department announced that “RFootball with Chris Ash”, a TV show featuring the team and it’s head coach, will debut starting tonight and rerun through the weekend. The show will air weekly and broadcast locally on MSG Plus, part of the Madison Square Garden Television Network. It will also be shown on TCN in the Philadelphia area, MASN in the Baltimore area, and Fox Sports Sun in Florida.

The show can also been seen on RVision through ScarletKnights.com. Bruce Beck, who has previously hosted the in-season weekly show for Rutgers football, is back again to lead the broadcast. Here is a description of the show from the press release:

The 30-minute show, hosted by WNBC-4 sports anchor Bruce Beck, will include game highlights, sit-down interviews with coach Ash, select Scarlet Knights and behind-the-scenes access into various aspects of the football program.

In case you missed the announcement last week, there is also the Chris Ash Show on radio with hosts Chris Carlin and Eric LeGrand. The show will take place every Wednesday night during the season at Quaker State & Lube in Edison, New Jersey, the same location as last year. For last night’s debut show, click below.

Athletic Director Pat Hobbs and Associate Athletic Director Sarah Baumgartner were in attendance for the premier episode last night.

Fans are invited to attend the show for the 7:30 p.m taping, which will be broadcast in real time on RVision. It will be aired on WCTC-1450AM on tape delay until the end of the Somerset Patriots season, which will be finished later this month.

It’s great to see head coach Chris Ash putting himself out there for the fans and promoting the program with two weekly shows during the season. Hopefully, Ash will have plenty of wins to talk about with fans as the season progresses. Go RU!
