The depth chart for Week 4 against Iowa has been released and the only change comes on the defensive side of the ball. It was previously reported that Najee Clayton has left the team and Ash stated he was unsure of his return. Replacing Clayton on the depth chart are sophomore Ronnie James and true freshman Tyreek Maddox-Williams, as both will backup Greg Jones at the SAM linebacker position. Here is a detailed review of Rutgers depth chart, as well as Iowa’s for this game.
OFFENSE
QB: Chris Laviano / Gio Rescigno OR Zach Allen
RB: Robert Martin / Josh Hicks OR Justin Goodwin
TE: Nick Arcidiacono / Matt Flanagan
WR: Jawuan Harris / John Tsimis
WR: Janarion Grant / John Tsimis
WR: Andre Patton / Carlton Agudosi
LT: Tariq Cole / Zack Heeman
LG: Dorian Miller / Zach Venesky
C: Derrick Nelson / Jonah Jackson
RG: Chris Muller / Marcus Applefield
RT: J.J. Denman / Kamaal Seymour
Notes: There were no changes to the depth chart for the offense.....It’s encouraging that the offensive line has developed some stability and the two deep has remained unchanged since the start of the season.....The quarterback position remains a huge question mark, as backups Zach Allen, Gio Rescigno, and Tylin Oden have all seen game action this season.
Ash said if they felt there was a QB who would give a better chance to win, he'd be starting. #Rutgers

Notes: Ronnie James saw action in the secondary last season, but after missing the beginning of fall training camp with an injury, he has moved his way back onto the two deep. He saw some action at linebacker against New Mexico on Saturday and that should continue.....K.J. Gray grabbed the first interception of his career on Saturday and will continue to back up Kiy Hester at free safety. Saquan Hampton remains out with an injury for an undisclosed period of time....Ross Douglas remains on the depth chart, despite being out with an injury for an undisclosed period.
SPECIAL TEAMS

LS: Alan Lucy / Matthew Sportelli
Notes: No changes on special teams.
Iowa Depth Chart
Here is the Iowa depth chart for Saturday’s game. A interesting note is that starting at outside linebacker for the Hawkeye’s is Ben Niemann, who is the son of Rutgers defensive coordinator Jay Niemann:
