Promotional Poster Takes the #2 Ranking in FBS

In the world of promotional posters for college football, Rutgers sits in rarified air. Poster Swag, a site that ranks such things, did a ranking of the top 50 season posters for FBS football.

The ranking, available here, is a rating based upon three different criteria. They are: a social vote, which was developed from over 2 million impressions on Twitter; a designer vote, in which 20 college athletics chose their favorite work; and by the sites own (un-described) criteria.

113 posters were submitted for consideration, of which 50 were listed as the final choices. All of the submissions can be seen here.

Here is the #2 entry, only bested by our 2016 opponent later this season, the Fighting Illini, shown above.

Let’s hope that this is the beginning of a trend of being ranked among FBS programs!
