Watch All Of The BTN Interviews With Rutgers Football

During the BTN crew’s visit to Rutgers football yesterday, we covered their commentary during practice here. It was very encouraging to hear such positive first impressions from their visit. In fact, Gerry DiNardo even confirmed the feelings of our optimistic fan base by responding to our own Jim Hoffman’s tweet:

For their BTN live show, they featured interviews with head coach Chris Ash, offensive coordinator Drew Mehringer, and defensive coordinator Jay Niemann. The staff made up of Dave Revsine, Gerry DiNardo, Howard Griffith, and Tom Dienhart also had a lot of positive things to say during the show.

With three weeks to go until opening kickoff on the road against #18 Washington, Rutgers holds it’s first scrimmage of training camp today as part of the open practice for fans. It’s the last practice of the first week of training camp, and hopefully the team plays well in the extreme heat today. Either way, they impressed BTN yesterday and that’s a positive sign.
