Big news everyone! Here at On The Banks, we are happy to announce that we have designed a t-shirt with the help of our friends at Breaking T. Of course, the concept of our very first shirt design seemed like a natural fit, pun intended. With optimism running high and recruiting off to a great start under Rutgers football coach Chris Ash, it’s time for a “Fence The Garden” t-shirt. Show your Rutgers & New Jersey pride all in one shirt!
From the good folks at Breaking T, here is a summary description of the shirts:
They are an athletic fit and are ultra-soft, made from a super comfortable, vintage-inspired blend of 60% combed ringspun cotton and 40% polyester jersey. Sizes run from small all the way up to triple XL.
In addition to producing an awesome t-shirt, our site is committed to donating all of our commission we receive from the sales to the RFund. So for every shirt that is bought, $4 will be donated from On The Banks to the RFund. Our own contributor Bob Cancro (rvc73) is an RFund Captain, so we will be donating through his team.
However, in order for OTB to receive credit for the sale of each shirt, you must only order from this specific link. If you go directly on Breaking T’s website and order the shirt, OTB will not get credit and thus your purchase will not contribute to the RFund.
If you don’t want a t-shirt, you can click here to donate directly to the RFund.
We are three plus weeks from the start of the college football season. There is plenty of time to order your shirt for the first home game on September 10th. Is there a better way to let recruits know that staying home and playing for Rutgers means something to all of us who are fans and alumni? We think not!
Help us spread the word on these shirts and help raise money for the RFund. It’s takes a village to build a champion, but there is no rule against looking good in these t-shirts while doing it. So let’s “Fence The Garden” with these t-shirts and help contribute to the development of new athletic facilities for our great University.
