Taylor is the eighth commit in the class of 2017 and of course is from New Jersey. All eight commits for Rutgers are from New Jersey and Taylor's decision in right on the heels of Johnathan Lewis' commitment last night.
Taylor is ranked as the 17th-best player in NJ by the 247 Sports composite rankings and is the top running back in the state.
Rutgers now holds commitments from the top dual-threat QB, RB, WR, and OL in the Garden State.
According to 247 Sports, Rutgers now has the 34th overall class in the country and the 10th ranked class in the B1G.
Welcome to The Banks, Jonathan!
