We'll give you more during the week, but let's get the good news out quickly.
Rutgers swept its trip through the Hoosier state, topping both Indiana, 30-9 and the No. 23 Boilermakers 24-15. With the two wins, the Knights move to 15-5, 5-4 in the Big Ten, wrapping up conference competition. Not that the Purdue win was a walk in the park, as the Boilermakers turned momentum, taking two wins at 184 and 197 (fall) to close the gap before Billy Smith secured the team win with a 12-8 victory at heavyweight. On the season, Purdue drops to 8-7 and Indiana to 6-6.
Without question, the biggest win of the weekend was today at 165 pounds. No. 8 Anthony Perrotti pinned No. 7 Chad Welch in 1:37. That followed bonus point wins by Tyson Dippery and Anthony Ashnault to give RU an 18-3 lead at intermission.

Against Indiana, Rutgers began and ended the day with major decisions, and got a six-point boost on a first period fall from No. 13 Billy Smith at heavyweight. The dual win snapped a two-match Rutgers losing skid.
"We were excited to get on the road and get back to our winning ways," said head coach Scott Goodale. "Any win in the Big Ten is a good win. Now we're moving on to Sunday."
And Sunday was BOOM! time.
On the Banks will have more coverage after rankings come out on Tuesday.
