Game Preview
Is it a bit obnoxious to want Rutgers to not only win tonight, but to do so in convincing fashion from the opening tip against Central Connecticut State? I’ll admit after the disaster that was the past three seasons, it very well might be. However, Rutgers is playing with fire the way they’ve struggled for significant portions of their last three home games against North Texas, Hartford, and Morgan State. To avoid a potential letdown that would be blemish on the good vibes to the start of the Steve Pikiell era, I hope to see a complete game from this team tonight.
Another sign that Steve Pikiell is getting his message across: Rutgers is currently leading the country in offensive rebounds. All effort.

Despite the recent struggles, there is no doubt the effort of this Rutgers team has been much improved this season. The bottom line is they continue to win the games on the schedule that they are supposed to win. Let’s hope the good times continue to roll tonight at the RAC, which has undergone it’s own resurgence the past two home games.
The RAC is BACK.

Join us in the comment section during the game and I’ll have a full recap after the final buzzer sounds. This game isn’t on TV, so either click on the link at the top or listen to Jerry Recco and coach Boylan on WCTC AM radio. They are a great listen by the way. Let’s go RU and go get win #8, which would top last season’s win total.
