Earlier this year Gall extinguished CM Punk’s UFC dreams in convincing fashion. After Gall’s win, he called out Sage Northcutt and he did not disappoint. The first round was fairly balanced, but Gall found himself in early trouble in the second round after Northcutt landed a punch above Gall’s eyebrow leaving him with large cut. Gall took back control landing a right jab that knocked Northcutt to the mat. Gall finished him off with a rear naked choke.

In typical Mickey Gall fashion he called out Dan Hardy after the win, Hardy was quick to respond on twitter:
Was he old enough to watch the @UFC when I was still fighting?

If Joe Rogan was impressed you know it was a good fight!
