Weather Forecast:
Here is the hourly forecast from the Weather Channel. It looks like the strongest chance of rain is between 3-7 p.m., with the percentage being between 30%-40%. That’s not bad at all, considering the forecast earlier in the week. However, our thoughts and prayers are with those being so heavily affected today as Hurricane Matthew hits Florida and the southern east coast.
Tomorrow at 7, we #StripeTheBirthplace: RAIN OR SHINE.

As for the game, let’s also hope tonight turns out better than the forecast as well. #4 Michigan visits for the first time since Rutgers beat them 26-24 in 2014. Realistically, if Rutgers can score early and play fundamentally sound football, they should be able to keep this game closer than expected. However, we could be bracing for a similar result as last week’s 58-0 loss to Ohio State. No matter what happens, after tonight we can officially turn the page on the first half of the schedule and look forward to a far more manageable second half.
What we need to see tonight is some fight out of this team. The odds are well against them, but there will be a fired up, striped out crowd, looking for any reason to have hope with this football team in 2016. The talent gap between the two programs is steep, but even last year Rutgers made a few plays against Michigan in their 49-16 loss at the Big House. Of course, now I miss Janarion Grant even more. But Robert Martin rumbled off a 54 yard run against Michigan last season. We want to see the defense rise up and hold their own. And we need the offense to show a pulse and put some points on the board.
I’m done rambling, everyone support R team tonight and let’s hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. Just being honest. Plus, we do get to see the new “Dark Knight” uniforms. Let’s hope we can pull off this “Stripeout” as well. Remember, odd sections are black and even sections are scarlet.
For all you need to get caught up and prepared for tonight’s game, here are various links from our coverage, as well as others, for #4 Michigan at Rutgers.
