Injury Update
Deshawn Freeman, Shaq Doorson, and Ibrahima Diallo all remain out indefinitely. Jonathan Laurent is also out for a second straight game after suffering a mild concussion in the Wisconsin game. Rutgers has just seven scholarship players active for tonight's game.
Win or lose, it will be a memorable day for the Rutgers men's basketball program. The 1975-1976 Final Four team is being honored at halftime. It was reported that class of 2016 wing Jahlil Tripp of NYC powerhouse Lincoln high school was committing to Eddie Jordan today. And another class of 2016 wing, Maishe Dailey from Ohio, is at the game on an official visit. With Nebraska coming in at 8-8 with an 0-3 record in conference play, the timing has never been better for Rutgers to break out with a conference win tonight. It won't be easy, with just Greg Lewis and D.J. Foreman the only players active that are taller than 6'4". Let's hope Rutgers can capture the emotion of the greatest team in program history being in the building and play their best game of the season.
