Rutgers faces a tall task tonight in taking on Big Ten powerhouse Michigan State. The Spartans went through a rough patch recently but rebounded with a big win over Maryland and a 31 point thrashing of Northwestern. Rutgers has played better the past two games against Iowa and Michigan, but continue to shoot themselves in the foot with the same mistakes. Despite shooting 7-35 for 20% from three-point range in those two games, Rutgers actually shot a better percentage from the field overall due to their effectiveness in the paint. Tonight, they need to do more of the same and only shoot from behind the arc when they have open looks. Let's hope for the best as Rutgers looks to end their 23 game conference losing streak.
