The Rutgers women were able to extend their winning streak at the RAC to eight Wednesday night with a big victory of Illinois, 67-54. Rutgers was able to improve their record to 12-5, including 3-2 in the B1G.
Leading the charge was two seniors and an emerging junior star. Rachel Hollivay and Kahleah Copper both recorded double doubles, while junior guard Tyler Scaife knotched 27 points and 5 rebounds.
Copper, with 15 points and 11 rebounds, was able to move into 9th place in Rutgers' all time scoring list, ahead of Epiphanny Prince.

Scaife was really the star of the show, as her suffocating defense and quickness lead to instant offense for the Scarlet Knights. She recorded her eighth 20+ point game of the season, moving into 18th on the all time scoring list. She was also able to continue her mastery from the free throw line, going 3-of-3 for the night for an overall 44-of-48 on the season.

The WBB will begin a tough 2 game road trip on Saturday against Nebraska, followed by a face off against Michigan State on Tuesday.
