Seemingly out of the blue, Tymir Oliver pulled the trigger for Kyle Flood and the Scarlet Knights. Oliver is a 6'4" 260 lb. defensive end, consensus rated as a three-star prospect. He has long held the Knights in high regard, and has taken several visits, but didn't want to commit before his mother could visit campus. According to Todderick Hunt, that happened today.

Oliver chose Rutgers over offers from Army, BC, UConn, Illinois, Pitt, Northwestern, Purdue, Temple and UVA.
