Double Decker Commit Alert! Taysir Mack and Ahmed Bah

Rutgers hot streak in NYC continued last night, as Brooklyn's Taysir Mack and Ahmed Bah, both rated as 3* receivers, committed to Rutgers on the field after Rutgers Skill Player camp.

Rutgers added its third and fourth commitments of the week, all four from New York City, when WRs and teammates Ahmed Bah and Taysir Mack committed to the Knights.  Mack and Bah are the eighth and ninth commitments in the class of 2016, and the second and third commits at receiver.

Mack received his offer last summer after Rutgers 7v7 camp, and Bah received his offer after the Scarlet/White game.

Mack is listed at 6'2" 180 lbs. He had offers from UConn and Syracuse, and Rivals rates him as the 5th best prospect in New York State.

Bah is listed at 6'4" 190 lbs.  His offers were from UConn and Wagner.

Although they are teammates, they play different styles of WR.  Bah is good at using his size to dominate physically, and also does a nice job getting the ball at its highest point.  He plays more like a possession receiver.  Think Brandon Coleman or Kenny Britt (without those NFL muscles at this point). Mack has a more shake-and-bake to his game, with impressive speed and quickness. Maybe more like Leonte Carroo.

Grand Street Campus has been doing a very good job lately in turning out D1 athletes.  Rutgers fought off a late charge from ttfp for Kamaal Seymour, a graduate of the same school last year. Welcome to Rutgers men!
