2016 QB commit Anthony Russo was invited to the Elite 11 semifinal in Los Angeles. If he does well there, he could secure an invitation to the finals (i.e., the Opening), at Nike's facility in Oregon. That is a big deal.

Blessed to receive my invite to the <a href="https://twitter.com/Elite11">@Elite11</a> semifinals in LA this weekend!!</p>— Anthony Russo (@Anthony_Russo15) <a href="https://twitter.com/Anthony_Russo15/status/605524277790654464">June 2, 2015</a></blockquote>

The Elite 11 features some of the best rising-senior quarterbacks in the country, and boasts a proud history:
10 of the past 11 quarterbacks to have won the Heisman Trophy attended the Elite 11 Finals or an Elite 11 regional. 35 of the top 49 NFL passers in 2014 attended the Elite 11 Finals or an Elite 11 regional.
Russo will have a tremendous opportunity to show his stuff and hang out with some very talented players this weekend.
Rutgers fans just wish he could be in two places at once, because while he is in Los Angeles under the bright lights, Rutgers is hosting its first skill player camp, which would have been a great opportunity for Russo to get back to campus and meet a lot of Rutgers other targets, including potential WR commit Taysir Mack.
If you want to watch Russo in action, the Elite 11 Semifinals will be live streamed at Elite11.com.
Good luck Anthony; make us proud!
